The irrepressible Sydney FC have beaten Melbourne City 1-0 to claim a record fifth A-League Women title.
The Sky Blues were crowned champions in front of their home fans at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium on Sunday afternoon, with Princess Ibini's first-half strike proving to be the difference between the two sides.
The win sees Sydney FC move clear of Melbourne City on the all-time A-League Women title winners list, with the Sky Blues now boasting five championships to City's four.
It is also a first A-League Women title for Sydney FC head coach Ante Juric, who took over the reins at the start of the season.
