Zurich, Switzerland - April 15, 2024 - The European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) announces the upcoming launch of its highly anticipated Large Hadron Collider (LHC) Run 3.
Run 3 Details
LHC Run 3 will officially commence on Monday, April 15, 2024, at 09:00 CEST (07:00 UTC) and continue through Thursday, April 18, 2024, at 18:00 CEST (16:00 UTC).
During this period, CERN's flagship particle accelerator will provide high-luminosity proton collisions to experiments, enabling scientists to push the boundaries of human knowledge and advance our understanding of the fundamental nature of our universe.
Live Stream Information
The official launch of LHC Run 3 will be streamed live on CERN's social media channels and through a high-quality Eurovision satellite link on July 5, 2024.
